        In recent,an ultra-large offshore wind power monopile constructed by Nantong RainbowOffshore & Engineering Equipments Co., Ltd (ROC in short) was deliveredfrom Qidong Marine Park jetty to Yangjiang Guangdong.

        This “Big Mac” is used in 300MW offshore wind farm. Its diameter is 8.7m,length is 100m, maximum plate thickness is 90mm, and unit weight reaches up to1740t. There’s no doubt that it’s the largest offshore wind power monopile incurrent domestic market.

        ROC Vicegeneral manager Mr. Fang Ruyi introduced that, this product was put intoproduction from this July and would be used in the 300MW offshore wind farm inYangjiang Guangdong. This wind farm is located in a sea area with bad environment.However, the monopile constructed by ROC can adapt to the sea area very wellwith the characteristic of strong wind resistance and good stability.

        It isunderstood that, as an enterprise focusing on construction of offshore windpower installation platform, ROC has completed construction of 80 sets ofoffshore wind power monopiles. In 2019, ROC already has possessed manufacturingcapacity of 80000t,In 2020, the capacity is expected to increased to 120000t-140000t.
