Recently, the
delivery ceremony of the platform supply vessel (PSV) "ENERGY
DUCHESS", the second high-end offshore project for Norwegian shipowner
Golden Energy Offshore (GEO), was officially held in Nantong Rainbow Offshore
& Engineering Equipments Co., Ltd.
Relevant leaders
from Qidong Municipal Government, Norwegian delegation headed by CEO of GEO
Shipowner Mr. Per Ivar Fagervoll, Director of Xiamen International Trade
Shipping Import and Export Corporation Mr. Wang Yongqing and General Manager
Mr. He Xudong, Nantong Regional Manager of DNV-GL Classification Society Mr. Ge
Yilong, and Commissioning Manager of Ulstein (Ustein China) Mr. Xindi attended
the delivery ceremony. At the delivery ceremony, Chairman, President of RHI Mr.
Wu Jian, CEO of GEO Mr. Per Ivar Fagervoll, Vice Chairman of RHI Mr. Shi
Xiaoyue, and Deputy General Manager of ROC Mr. Shao Xiwu delivered enthusiastic
speeches on the delivery ceremony.
"ENERGY
DUCHESS" is the second high-end PSV successfully delivered to Norwegian
shipowner GEO after "ENERGY EMPRESS", and will sail to the North Sea
of Europe for offshore oil and gas exploration service. Norwegian shipowner GEO
expects that these two high-end advanced PSVs will soon bring substantial
investment returns.
In the speech,
the company's senior executives said that RHI, with its manufacturing
advantages in high-end equipment industry, had not changed its original
intention of practicing the national marine strategy and would continue march
to marine equipment industry. The successful delivery of two PSVs also proves
that ROC's advantages and strength are being recognized by the world's leading
customers.
In future, ROC
will positively grow its business in high-end equipments like offshore
windpower industry, marine ranching, Petrochemical Equipment, heavy steel
structure, etc.
