Jiangsu Rainbow Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. 

On 25 July, 2011, Rainbow and Cargotec Corporation (Finland) signed a joint venture contract to set up a new company with 51% shares owned by Rainbow, 49% shares owned by Cargotec.It is reported that the newly funded joint venture will focus on large-scale port handling systems and equipments, heavy equipment systems supporting business. The advantages of both sides in design, manufacturing, sale, service and so on will be integrated to explore the global market in heavy equipment.
Cargotec has been committed to improve the logistic efficiency onshore and offshore and is recognized as the world leader in providing cargo handling solutions. Rainbow set up a long-term strategic partnership with Cargotec since it was founded and became a core supplier of Cargotec. Over the years, the two parties have maintained a good relationship and a further cooperation will be deepened by the new joint venture.
With the great opportunities from the heavy industry transferring to China, the set up of the joint venture by Rainbow and Cargotec will enhance the competitiveness and promote the international strategy for both parties.
